StumbleUpon Account/Blog for Sale!
Posted in Business Ideas, money, Business, Web by max on the January 30th, 2008

Yey, I've finally sold one site, Wagg. It, but that might just be the start of some of things I own. I own about 20 accounts on StumbleUpon that have "power" to bring about 300 to 500 visitors on any website.

I am selling off one of these accounts (one of the best) over at SitePoint here.

You can buy it now for $10K if you want it. It's probably worth that much, look at all those people who sold MySpace accounts for thousands of dollars.

Although I want to keep it, I need to keep finding ways to make a living on the internet, so go bid now and have the ownership of one of the most prized StumbleUpon accounts.

Yes, we "did" control the StumbleUpon black market for awhile there, now we don't care as much since we have SiteHoppin.

Inflation is rising it seems. He is not good in hiding his SU identity though.

Re: 3 - how about the 20 alters?

His main account only has 629 pages from Zedomax.com submitted.

In case the page disappears, and as if it weren't obvious enough...

I think flogging an account to A.N.Other might reasonably be considered to be a breach of terms. That would be a fine waste of $10K.

If A. N. Other is addled enough to pay $ 10k for an SU account he/she obviously has dosh to burn. I wouldn't worry about the waste. Any potential vendors could also argue that it doesn't specifically state in the TOS that you can't sell your account.

Damn - what a pity my grandmothers are dead. I could sell them without violating SU TOS.

When the account is sold you could say that's not your account any longer because it now belongs to the buyer (or something stupid like that)

I guess it's refreshing to know alters are not just about flaming each other.
