Sponsor | anitab | Feb 18, 6:32pm | I initially thought about posting this in the Help forum.
Perhaps once we have a complete list, it can be posted there too. That would be.. helpful.
Ok. So, everyone should know the normal rules.
Actually, the core forums may be the only place where these rules are actually enforced. Regardless, there they are.
But, there are also some unwritten rules. Could we have these out in the open, please?
These are a few that I know...
- No non standard fonts
- No smileys :(
- No gifs, images (unless screenshots)
- No naming names
Is that it?
And on this matter, could someone please explain how hidden threads and posts in cores affect your forums "privileges"?
(Yes, these are genuine questions.) |

| Lokito | Feb 18, 6:38pm | We already had a feature request asking to make note of the no names rule in writing, but nothing has changed yet. I don't think anyone cared to disagree about it, however.
And - after x amount of hidden posts (I don't know what happens when an entire thread is hidden) you're automatically temp banned. There's a demerit system with points. |

The 'no naming names' should be generalized 'no posting of other's personal information'. |

| Lokito | Feb 18, 6:48pm | | No. It falls under the "no images" rule, which is only ignored for bits of code that can't be posted in non-image without incorrect rendering. |
