Sponsor | | fantm | May 7, 11:27am | They fixed the ghost friend bug so that if you add or delete anyone, the ghosts are deleted from both the mutuals list and the list of fans (people who added you). I did this and the fans number dropped over 80.

Sponsor | | MJ-Brutus | May 7, 12:15pm | Used to be if someone you friended left SU and had there acct. deleted before you had a chance to un-friend them you had a ghost. One of your allotted 200 friends was taken up by the missing friend, a "ghost".
This will still happen, but the count gets reset correctly now, every time you add or remove a friend. (This has been a major gripe going on many years now, so the solution finally coming is a joy to many. That is all of us who don't have a real life. j/k). |
